We all have apps, plugins and extensions for our phones and browsers that we use on a daily basis. They become a part of our lives and effortlessly find a way into our arsenal of digital tools. Exceptional plugins and extensions are not easy to come to by, which is why I wanted to take this Friday to share with you what I keep in my personal digital armory.
Here we go.
During my real estate days, my email got into the hands of what feels like to me, every real estate person or company in the world. I used to receive all kinds of junk that would find its way into my inbox and despite my best endeavors, I was unable to unsubscribe from these hellish emails until I came across “Unroll Me.”
The beauty of Unroll Me is that it examines your email account, generates a list of every email you are subscribed to and allows you to unsubscribe from all unwanted emails en masse. You can finally take control of your inbox and receive the emails you actually look forward to and need.
Tip of My Tongue
Have you ever had a word stuck on the tip of your tongue? Have you ever been in a conversation, trying to muster up a word that you just could not simply remember? A word that somehow felt so near but incredibly distant at the same time. I’m talking about a word that you know you know, but the inability to expel this individual word has built up a surge of anxiety inside of you that is now eating you alive.
If you are one of the millions of people that suffer from this soul-crushing disease, then you need to go to “Project: Tip of My Tongue.” It does not require a payment, it is a page you can visit at any time and there is also a mobile application available that you can download and install for your smartphone.
Get Notify is brilliant and free service. Have you ever sent someone an incalculable amount of emails with no response and wondered, “Did they even open up any of my emails?” Well that nightmare ends today! Get Notify is a service you can sign up for and it tracks your emails for you. Now when you send emails, you will receive a notification every time your email has been opened.
Sometimes finding a specific person’s email can be incredibly time consuming and frustrating. Sometimes, a person’s email is kept hidden on purpose, but you need it and you would go to great lengths to find it. What you need to do is add “Hunter” to your browser.
Briefly, Hunter is a plugin that helps you guess a person’s email by testing a number of different combinations of the person’s name and their company name. It doesn’t always work, but when it does - it can be a real life saver.
Down For Everyone or Just Me
I think the title says it all. If you have ever wondered if a website is down just on your computer or then for everyone, this is the website you need to go.
